I Keep Getting A Severe Pain In My Left Outter

I keep getting a severe pain in my left outter thigh, it had happen two days in a row, it is a pain so severe that it wakes me up in the morning out of my sleep. it eels like fire and then there is a numbness and then the pain isn't as severe anymore. It starts around the hip area and ends at the knee and covers the whole area, I wake up in tears.
