I Knocked My Head Hard On My Horse Float This

I knocked my head hard on my horse float this morning before a horse show. Now I have a small mark on the skin and a dent in my forehead. At the show I forgot my course in two different classes, I never normally forget my course at all. I have also had headaches since then but not bad.
Are dents normal? Will it go away?
