I Know Of A Patient With An Acute Systemic Staphylococcus

I know of a patient with an acute systemic Staphylococcus lugdunensis infection. Also signs of aortal endocarditis with secondary kidney and spleen involvement. What is the current recommended antibiotic therapy choices for this gram positive resistant bacterium? I am a clinical toxicologist with little knowledge/experience in this area.
