I Know This Is A Hard Question To Answer But

I know this is a hard question to answer but how fast is the progression thru the stages ? dad was dx. last May as we had noticed he had for several months had problems with short term memory and was messing up on his check book , leaving the stove on in the kitchen , etc. By looking at the stages , I would say he is between stage 3 and 4.He is 85
