I Learned Recently That I Have Osteoporosis. I Also Have

I learned recently that I have osteoporosis. I also have psoriatic arthritis for which I have been taking methotrexate and 2 mg of prednisone. I have decreased prednisone to 1 mg but am having increasing pain in many joints, aching and pain from my groin and hip to my feet. I don't know what medications are safe, will my dr recommend just shooting me?
