I Left A Tampon In For Almost A Week By

I left a tampon in for almost a week by mistake...when I thought I had one in I went to check and couldn't find it so i assumed I took it out and just forgot I did...well...my husband said he felt one after we had intercourse...I went to check a little deeper and found that it was still in and turned sideways...I was able to get it out but am concerned about what I need to do for a follow up. I have not experienced any of the symptoms for TTS but am of course worried about it.
