I Lost My Balance During My Sleep And Felt Everything

I lost my balance during my sleep and felt everything around me is turning around, also had dizziness, nausea and guideless, dr is saying it might be related to the inner ear... though I don't have any kind of infection in my ear ....
do you think it might comeback? why I had it while sleeping? it could be something related to the brain?
what are they the reason ?
