I Lost My Voice At Xmas & Started Coughing Hard.

I lost my voice at Xmas & started coughing hard. I related it to seasonal Fall/Winter Allergies. However, after taking my Doctor's prescription:("Amoxicilin & Clavulanate Potassium" Tabs(2x daily) I had other symptoms. I suffered from small soft loose bowl excretions, continuously. After all day near a toilet & continuous changing of sanitary pads I stopped the Antibotic. Also stopped over- the -counter Day/Night time med's as well. Should I now finish & continue the prescribed Antibotic? What about this diarrhea problem.?
