I Love Eating Cashew Nuts, But A Week Ago I

I love eating cashew nuts, but a week ago i noticed my neck is swollen, i am waiting for the scan to know what is the problem. My thyroid function tests results came back normal. But i suspected i have goiter as i runs in my family, but i just can't help wondering if eating a lot of cashew nuts make this problem occur?
