I Love Rice And Am Eating Rice With Corn And

I love rice and am eating rice with corn and soy sauce. Along side is pork tenderloin. I fin that many time when I "shovel in" the rice I start to gag and frequently have to through up to breath and not pass out.
Is sther a reason for this? What can I do to avoid this result when I eat rice.
