I Made A Poor Choice 6 Days Ago And Tried

I made a poor choice 6 days ago and tried to break a pallet board with a palm heal strike. It did not break after several attempts, I then missed my target hitting the edge of the board with my hand. I had a lot of immediate bruising & swelling, & used ice a lot for the first two days. The bruising is nearly gone now. One spot near the bottom middle of my palm heal has a bump & my lower half of my hand is swollen, not as much as it was. It started itching yesterday. I have a general dull ache but only sharp pain if I try to put weight on that hand, like a push up or using my hand to push myself up out of a chair. My fingers all work without any extra pain & I can grasp things fine. Do you think it may be broken or just a soft tissue injury? Thanks!
