I Made Chicken Soup With Lots Of Different Vegetables, And

I made chicken soup with lots of different vegetables, and a medium German noodle. I have type II diabetes. but thought to have a little noodles. I began having small itchy bumps and after a few hours a few welts. I think I am allergic to Parsnip? Or maybe the noodles? Never had any other allergic reaction to my chicken soup before. Blood Gucose was 265 when I checked. Up from 204 at morning coffee. After a few hours, I still have some reaction, not bad, but I noticed some heart palpitations. I ate an aspirin, then went and bought Benedryl caps. Took two. Wondering if that will do it, or is more necessary. I only notice that the benedryl is warming me up. Breathing is stable but kinda like a very weak asthma as when I was a child. How long should I expect the Benedryl (if efficacious) to require subsiding , if any, of my heart palpitations?
