I May Have Scabies My Doctor Is Not Sure Used

I may have scabies my doctor is not sure used permethrin cream 2 doses then ivermectin for 4 doses. I am on my 3rd dose of ivermectin after I told him I felt a crawling sensation on my head. I think I have demodex mites are they the same as scabies and is there anything else like a medicated shampoo to treat them. This is driving me crazy. I know I have to wash everything but my car has cloth seats could it be infested also. Then it would do me no good to get cured if my car gets me reinfected.
