Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I miscarried 3 days ago. I was 14 weeks pregnant and expelled the placenta yesterday. Now I am having some really bad abdominal pain. It's so bad that it hurts to laugh, sit up from a lying down position and it hurts to move from lying on my back to my side. As for bleeding, it's bright red but sometimes it is a brick red color that is darker than bright red but lighter than the color maroon. When I use the restroom, my urine isn't red but there are a couple clots that are smaller than the size of a dime. My urine is clear with a yellow tint to it. Is this kind of abdominal pain normal for women who miscarried at 14 weeks or is this something that is life threatening? I plan to go to a doctor to get examined, however I would like to know what to expect before hand
