I Misstepped Monday 8-22 And Fell On My Lower Right

I misstepped Monday 8-22 and fell on my lower right side into the top edge of a flower pot.pain is on lower side above belt line,bearable but irritating should I get an xray? I have had broken/cracked ribs before and this pain is not nearly as bad,no bruising or swelling visable.
