I Moved From Canada 10 Months Ago And Was On

I moved from Canada 10 months ago and was on pain Mets due to a myriad of pain issues. I was seeing a doctor but got a job in a city in VA in the other direction so am looking for a new pcp.
I have an appointment with a rheumatologists but my meds will run out before that. How do I find a pcp that will pprescribe pain meds in the mean time
