Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
A couple of days ago I cried myself to sleep because I was emotional mostly stressing out about the past and future and who I am as a person my flaws insecurities, school, college etc etc whatever. As I silently cried I felt a small pain in my chest but it was pretty insignificant. The next days that followed I’ve been having chronic tension in my chest like I can’t take 100% deep breathes because I feel like my chest is too tight. Going up and down stars or even walking fast makes my heart beat super fast to the point where it hurts. The pain worsens as I study because I stress to much about it. I’m also getting on average 5.5-6.5 hours of sleep every night which probably makes it worse because my body is tired. I started fall quarter in community college last week as a HS Senior and I’ve been feeling very anxious because I already have a ton of workload, I’m behind, needing to cram for a test and write a 2k paper which I despise and I haven’t started university applications. I’m 17 with no history of heart problems and neither does everyone in my family. I don’t have depression despite this year being increasingly difficult for my mental health. Help????
