I Need Help. I Have A Bump On The Left

I need help. I have a bump on the left front tip of my tongue. It hurts if i press down on it sometimes it grows in size and when it does i get this purple color on the area and its kind of visible in light but right now it feels like it doubled in size due to me being sick with a minor cold. Ive had this bump for a couple of years now. But now im frightened it could be something else. Female 24 none smoker or drinker.
