I Need To Decide If I Should Have My Gall

I need to decide if I should have my gall bladder out or not. My HIDA scan showed that it is only working at 2%. I met with a surgeon and he said that it is basically not really functioning at all. And when your gall bladder stops working do you have to have it out. Just worried about the surgery. I have had trouble with vomiting, acid reflex, pain on the right side, no stones. Let me know what you think about this?
