I Need To Help My Dog That Has Several 'skin

I need to help my dog that has several 'skin tags' or what looks like warts. My vet wants to cut out each one, but more pop up overnight it seems. I realize that you are not a vet, but I am desperste to help my standard thirteen-year-old poodle. the ones that the vet has removed already were diagonosed and checked as benign. I am desperate, can you suggest something?
