I Normally Have Very Regular Menstrual Cycles, No Problems Until

I normally have very regular menstrual cycles, no problems until last month, I was very late for my period (normally comes every 28 days) this time it came on the 42nd day and has not stopped. It was very heavy and I was passing large clots. I was prescribed Medroxyprogesterone 10mg 1 pill / day for 10 days. I have finished my prescription and my period still has not stopped althought it is lighter, I want it to stop. I had my hormones checked and they were normal except my iron level was low. What else can be done to stop the bleeding and get me back to my normal cycle?
