I Noticed A Lump On Or Close To My Temple

I noticed a lump on or close to my temple (if I clench my teeth, it feels like the lump is over the swollen temple). It is firm, not painful and it seems to move a little. I'd say it reminds me of a ganglion one might see on their wrist. Is this anything I need to get checked out?
