I Noticed A Redness Along The Opening On The Penis

I noticed a redness along the opening on the penis tip. Also, there is a pain when I lift the penis from the underside of the tip. Strangely this does not happen always. There is good amount of pain during erection. This has been going on for a few months now. No other symptoms exists.
