I Noticed My Hands Were Extremely Swollen For No Reason

I noticed my hands were extremely swollen for no reason what so ever and then I noticed a bump in my knuckle area between my index finger and middle finger that is very sensitive and it almost feels bruised. That area also looks bruised up to the bending area of the index finger. I did not injury it and I have not been bitten to my knowledge. I know my blood pressure was very high at the time I noticed this and was wondering if that had anything to do with it. My hand is swollen significantly and is easily noticed with the naked eye and that has never happened to me before.
