Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I noticed on a Thursday that the skin between my two front teeth on top was sensitive even chewing gum. Had hot pepper for dinner Friday and woke up Saturday and my lips were swollen(no botox needed) My lips became increasingly sore and chapped and then it looked like the inner side of my bottom lip (where my lips touch with my mouth closed) had almost like a canker sore. it wasn't like a crater or anything. Was real sensitive to foods and the toothbrush bristles that barely touched it. This went on for 4 days. My lips were back to normal by Monday. Saturday I did take a non-drowsy allergy med (generic allegra). The skin between my two front teeth on top is still swollen but the chapped lips part is healed. I used an antibiotic ointment. Any ideas?
