I Noticed That My Ankles And Feet Have Swollen Up.

I noticed that my ankles and feet have swollen up. I noticed it this morning. I am 75 years old. I take medication for diabetes (some 8 to 10 years now). I am retired, but somewhat active. I have been getting pains in my ankles in the night lately. They are like a cramp and go away when I stand up or walk around a bit.
