I Occasionally Experience What I Can Only Describe As A

I occasionally experience what I can only describe as a burning sensation on the right side of my knee when I move my right leg a certain way or kneel on it. I have stabilized the knee with an over the counter brace. What do you think the issue may be and is there anything else that I should be doing to treat it? Thank you.
