I Occasionally Have Slightly Blurred Vision, Sometimes Lasting All Day,

I occasionally have slightly blurred vision, sometimes lasting all day, as it has so far today. Last night I had some pain to my left eye as if someone had stuck their thumb in it during sport activity. I can barely feel the pain today, but the slight blurred vision continues. This never continues for a second day and occurs maybe once a month. Possible cause(s).
