I Participated In A Obstacle Race On Saturday. One Of

I participated in a obstacle race on Saturday. One of the obstacles was a horizontal rope climb where you wrap your legs around the rope and pull yourself forward with your hands. I got rope burn on my ankle, since I was wearing shorts it was skin on rope. I finished the rest of the race with little irritation from it but yesterday (Sunday) it really hurt and I had to walk with a limp even today though it does seem a little better it only really hurts when I first stand after sitting down or laying down for long periods of time. I placed antibiotics on the wound which isn't pussing. Was just wondering if this is normal? Thank you.
