I Picked A Scab On My Face And Underneath It

I picked a scab on my face and underneath it was not bleeding but it was a red thin layer of skin. I dont want the scab to form again. I just want to heal the skin with cream and take away the redness. Do you prefer triamcinolone acetodine ointment or neosporin?
