I Picked Up A Night Stand And The Drawer Slid

I picked up a night stand and the drawer slid out. The knob on the drawer hit me in my hair line of my forehead. At first I could feel something running down and thought it may be bleeding. It did not bleed, but I do have about a quarter inch dent that is extremely sore days later. Should I have it checked?
