I Pulled A Tooth That Seems Really Dirty And It

I pulled a tooth that seems really dirty and it has fillings at the bottom and It was stiff. I pushed it this night and it literally popped out of place and it became very loose so i pulled it out and a root was left over it hurts though when its touched was is it, is it serious?
