I Quit Smoking Almost A Month Now But I Have

I quit smoking almost a month now but i have this sore sensation in the left side of my throat when i swallow. i was smoking 3 cigarettes a day. i have phlegm as well. Im worried that this sore patch will be something worse, can u tell me what it might be?
