I Quit Taking Amlodopine 5 Days Ago Because Of Unknown

I quit taking amlodopine 5 days ago because of unknown error in blood pressure cuff. I I have suffered a bunch since then. did not see doctor because of snow storm. Now my question is it safe to resume taking it .I am a 72 yr. old female and have experienced clameness chest burning extreme nervousness since quitting.
