I Recently Broke My Three Metatarsals And Had Surgery To

I recently broke my three metatarsals and had surgery to put a metal plate in one I was in a soft cast for 2-3 weeks post op then a hard cast for 2 weeks. I was then put into a walker boot and they said 2 weeks with crutches and 2 weeks just walking on it. However my foot after a week feels fine to walk on, no pain whatsoever am I allowed to walk with my boot withought the use of crutches.also I get this hot burning in my foot is this common?
