I Recently Drove From Maryland To New Mexico For Work

I recently drove from Maryland to New Mexico for work and my expected period was Dec. 24, I am now 20 days late. I am usually very regular. Prior to that my last cycle I only spotted but for the length of my regular period which is 4 days. What can be the reason for my missed period.
