I Recently Got A New Dr When My Old One

I recently got a new dr when my old one went to another hospital. The first thing he said to me, without looking at my chart, was that I need to change my hydrocodone prescription. Decrease it. He then tried to bully me into Lyrica, offered me several narcotics in place of the hydros; then proceeded to tell me there were no contraindications for any of the meds I have already researched to change to for my issues. I have back problems (discs); arthritis, fibromyalgia, diabetes, seriously cannot remember all my pain issues right now. He has decreased my pain meds by 70 pills over 3-4 months and I am not sure what to do. I am trying to find another dr; in the meantime, I need my pain meds back. Advice is welcome.
