I Recently Had A MRI Study Of My Lumbar Spine

I recently had a MRI study of my lumbar spine . They discovered a disc extrusion at the level of l-4 & l-5 with severe narrowing on the right side of the IVF. I have sciatic pain in my right leg extending to my rt ankle. I have an appointment to see a neurosurgeon in two weeks. At this time I have no neurological numbness or loss of strength in my rt leg. Do you have any stats on the success of microdiscectomy or spinal laser surgery? Thank you. Ron Rinck
