Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently had a brain MRI and the following was in the 'results' -- which I cannot understand -- " Moderate parenchymal volume loss and extensive periventricular and subcortical white matter T2 FLAIR signal hyperintensities bilaterally. Mild eentricular prominenace; likely due to ex vacuo dilation. "
What does it all mean? I am a very active 84 year old lady.
