I Recently Had A Fall On My Tailbone, Down About

I recently had a fall on my tailbone, down about 8 stairs, hitting my tailbone on every one. I was in extreme pain for a few days, but started to feel better. Yesterday I went to the park with my son and when we went down the slippery slide the pain returned ten fold. Around 10 minutes after the pain returning I then was smacked with a hugh fever and flue like symptoms that have not eased. Is there an association with tailbone injury and sudden onset of flu symptoms?
