I Recently Had A Rectal Abscess Drained And Was Told

I recently had a rectal abscess drained and was told I have a rectrovaginal fistula. I also have ulcerative coltis and have had two LARGE children vaginally. What can I do at home to help speed up recovery and possibly eliminate any other surgery in the future?
