I Recently Had A Small Intestine Blockage Was In The

I recently had a small intestine blockage was in the hospital for 6 days it fixed itself. I have been taking a laxative stimulant with colace and finally had a normal bowel movement but since yesterday have had pain on the upper back left side below the ribs aching I have used heat to help alleviate the pain. A;so have had gas a lot. I am trying to drink 6-8 glasses of water a day. I don't know if it's kidney or something else.
