I Recently Had An MRI Done For A Lumbar Injury

I recently had an MRI done for a lumbar injury indicating a herniated disc at L3. In the MRI report, the dr. reading the results indicated that is a persistent diffuse decreased marrow signal involved in all of the included vertebral bodies. This is likely related to a reconversion of the red marrow do to anemia. I had my pcp run a cbcm showing no signs of anemia, but the absolute metamylocites were out of range at 82H and metamylocytes were 1.0H. I have also been running a low grade fever. What could these results mean?
