I Recently Had Cataract Surgery And Was Originally Farsighted With

I recently had cataract surgery and was originally farsighted with a small astigmatism in both eyes. He said that I would see distance and need low strength glasses for near reading ( less than 14 in.). But, the results are quite different. I cannot focus beyond 20 feet and get halos and blurry vision. Near I can only focus at 1 distance but can seel a little beyond 14 in. He is refusing to replace the lens for a stronger one and thinks I may have a refraction issue or water behind the implanted lenses. It has been on ly 4 weeks on the right and 2 weeks on the left. I had Lasix on both eyes ( more on the left). I have a 21 D in both eyes and it is suppose to be set for distance. What do you think? ANNE
