I Recently Had Chemo And Radiation Treatment For Throat Cancer.

I recently had chemo and radiation treatment for throat cancer. After the radiation, I became deaf in my left ear and the radiation opened my nasal passages. I went to an ENT who told me the deafness and nasal passage issues were due to the radiation; now my ear bleeds and has a disgusting odor.
My question to you is: "Can this condition cause an infection to spread into my brain?"
