I Recently Had My PAP Done And My Results Showed

I recently had my PAP done and my results showed no abnormal cells, but positive for HPV. I have been with the same partner for 3 years. I had a full panel STD check up in the beginning of 2017 and was std free. I also had a pap done in the fall of 2016 and was clear. Did he cheat on me? Can I get rid of the HPV?
