I Recently Had My Period But It Only Lasted 3

I recently had my period but it only lasted 3 days where it normally lasts about 7-8 days. I've been eating more than usual I have the implanon but I'm worried I might be pregnant is it possible I could be? and how long after you have sexual intercourse can you take a pregnancy test?
