I Recently Had Open Heart Surgery For An Aortic Valve

I recently had open heart surgery for an Aortic Valve replacement (tissue prothesis) and a LAD artery bypass. Three days after the surgery I had severe delirium and confusion for two days. I'm finally recovering, and now normally know the difference between "real" and "false". Is this normal? Might I have further affects?
