I recently had students in a clinical setting that were caring for a woman with breast cancer that had metastasized to the point that the tumor was growing outside of the body. She had opted for "homeopathic" treatment when first diagnosed with cancer and the tumor continued to grow until it was out of control. What discussion would you have with the patient at this stage in the diseased process?
