I Recently Have A New /dr Who Did Not Prescribe

I recently have a new /dr who did not prescribe by escitalpram . I have been taking 20 to 40 mg a day for 6 years. since I am on several meds did not realize that without telling me I was no longer taking this med. that is until I was having trouble getting other meds refilled. I have gone from rage to tears and thought I was losing my mind. Is this the reason?
